Cinemagarden: Caffenol Cooking from Flowerbed to Flatbed is a manifesto written and designed as a final project for an elective course at FAMU. It developed into a precursor to my senior thesis project.

“CINEMAGARDEN is a synthesized cookbook of principles in the emerging field of ecologically wise and environmentally sustainable hand-processing of 16mm film. With caffenol, this practice gives you the power to develop film yourself, from scratch. It asks you to consider the relationship between the physical film strip, geography of ingredients, and you, the artist.”
